Dino Melaye calls Yahaya Bello “coronated” Kogi governor


The lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye, has described the State Governor, Yahaya Bello as a “coronated governor” and not an elected one.

Melaye said since his “coronation” Bello has brought such “calamitous exhibition of wickedness” on the state.

The lawmaker, who took to his twitter handle, on Wednesday wrote: “Yahaya Bello is not an elected governor,he was coronated hence his outrageously calamitous exhibition of wickedness.”

The Senator made the claim while sharing a photograph of a lawmaker from the State House of Assembly who was recently attacked by some thugs when they invaded the Assembly complex.

The thugs alleged to be loyalists of the governor invaded the Assembly complex, while chasing out lawmakers.

The aim of the attack, it was learnt was to halt the planned removal of the Majority Leader of the House, Matthew Kolawole, who is said to be a staunch supporter of the state governor.
